Well, you already know that Junior Rabbit is my friend, and that I have written a couple of stories with him in it. Guess what? He is on the move in his next adventure. The book will be out in a little while. It’s called Junior Rabbit Travels to Pennsylvania. When you read this one, you’ll find out what happened in the last book. So, please look for it on Amazon.com in a few weeks. Here’s the book cover below. I am so excited.
Remember, too, that reading opens the world up to you. Talk to you later.
Well, it’s me again. I have a little time and I wanted to let you all know that while I am finishing up my new book on Junior Rabbit, I also had some time to complete a project that is near and dear to me—QUILTING. I love doing projects, especially ones where I get to use my hands. I love quilting. I just wanted to share with you all that I completed a couple of quilts this summer. You can see one of them below.
In the first picture, you see a picture of my grandson. In the other picture you can see photos of different people. See, I told you that if you want to there are so many other things that you can discover by reading. I bet if you went to the library right now, you can find a book on quilting and get all kinds of ideas for quilts. So, get to the library this weekend if you can. The world is waiting to be discovered there at the library. Until next time….
Boy, oh boy! It has been a while since I was able to talk to you guys. But I want you to know that I’ve had a time, keeping up with my friend Junior Rabbit. He’s on the go right now. I have to find out where he is because he’s been traveling. You’ll find out, too, in a couple of months where his first adventure will be.
Now remember guys, it’s Summer and there’s so much fun to be had. You’ll be visiting friends in different states, going to the park and amusements parks, having barbeques, swimming, bike riding, scooter riding and so much more.
Just don’t forget that while you’re having all of that fun, there’s a world of fun to be had at the Library. At the Library you can get a book about origami and how to make figures, you can even become the hero in a far away country. You can help others who don’t have what you have. You know that your little brothers and sisters and you little cousins and nieces and nephews will love to have you read Junior Rabbit to them and even Loony the Loon to them. They will laugh at the funny sounds you make while they imagine the story you are reading to them. So, let’s be sure that reading a book a day is on our list of fun things to do this Summer.
Talk to you later! I’m on my way to a family reunion!
It’s me, Jenny! WHEW! It has been a whirlwind of activity with me for the last few months. I mean, I really missed you guys. But today, I am glad to say that I can catch up with all of you and find out what you are doing.
I sure hope school is going well. Can you believe that there are only about 4 or 5 weeks left until Summer vacation? Okay. I can hear a lot of you shouting YAYYYYY!! And there is nothing wrong with wishing for Summer vacation. Besides you all deserve it. You’ve worked so hard in school getting those A’s and B’s. So you deserve a break.
I just want you to remember one thing: While you are planning your summer always make plans to read 20 minutes a day. Yep, read every day. And please if you have little brothers and sisters or little nieces and nephews or just little kids in the neighborhood, please get a book and read to them, as well. Babies even love to hear your voices as you read Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham or my books, A Surprise for Junior, Loony the Loon and the Littered Lake or Junior Rabbit Learns About Christmas. Believe me guys, when you read you learn about this world and all the wonderful things in it.
Oops, I gotta go. I am writing another book to be published later this year. I sure hope you guys will read my books. Talk to you later,
Well, I had a wonderful time at my book signing and reading Junior Rabbit Learns About Christmas at an elementary school in a suburb of Detroit. You can see some of the pics below. I had a wonderful time and so did the children. In case you don’t know it, that’s me in the elf outfit. We had loads of fun. I told you that reading is a lot of fun especially when you get together with others and have a reading party. I want you to see how much fun I had and enjoy the pictures. Have a wonderful and fun and safe Merry Christmas and a beautiful New Year.
I am so excited! So, if you are local, I would love to see you there. I would make sure you get a personal autographed copy of the book, when you purchase it. We could even take pictures together.
Here’s the information about my book signings. Oh yes, before I forget, make sure you are reading every day between 15 and 20 minutes. Remember, too, that reading opens up the world to you. Gotta go guys!

It’s been a couple of years since we’ve been having fun on this blog, talking about everything from reading opens up the world, to special needs kids and good study habits. It is my passion always to make everyone realize that kids are kids no matter what. I think I told you that I am a retired special education teacher. And I want you to know that I am now going to have an internet radio program beginning in November. I hope you guys and your parents get a chance to listen in from time to time. I mean you can even call in and ask questions of my guests and me and you all can also make comments. I want to hear from all of you, I really do.
